1. News

Hi to all new and old subscribers!

I've been "off the air" (or should I say Net?) for a while as I took a break over January to enjoy my holidays. I hope you all did the same.

But I've been off longer than I'd liked due to a computer and modem crash about Mid-January. Anyway, all's well now so let's get on with it...

2. New Pages

I've added some new content pages to my website over the last couple months. There's one about the composer Alexandre Tansman which you can see here... and also one about sight-reading skills which you can view on my Guitar Lessons page. Oh! I almost forgot! I have a new Blogging Page. I'm just getting used to using it and I hope it's something I can do every few days or so. It's official title is Classical Guitar News & Information so I'm hoping to put timely, informative and helpful entries in it that won't always suit the content of a monthly newsletter like this.

If you've got some suggestions or questions just drop me an e-mail and I'll endeavor to put it in my blog. You might be helping another guitarist along the way with your queries.

Here's the link for Classical Guitar News Blog Page...

3. Carulli Sonata

Now for the fr/ee music. It's a graceful & tasteful Sonata by Carulli. You can read a little about Carulli by the way here... And you can download the PDF file & the Midi File here... I don't think the Midi file does it justice but at least it gives you some idea.

And that's all for this issue. See you next month!
