Upgrading to a higher quality student guitar

I have been taking classical guitar lessons for about a year and a half and I currently own a Antonio Picado model 53 guitar that I have had for about two years.

I am interested in upgrading to a better student guitar In the price range of $2,500 that has a more resonant tone quality.

Does anyone have a few suggestions?

Hi,

I could suggest a Yamaha as I own one and use it for this site :))

Seriously though, they're really good quality and I've been very happy with my guitar over the last 20 years or so.

P.S. Have you had a look at my guitar store page (Just look on the Nav bar on left). There's some good quality guitars there.
