My three favorites

(1) Roland Dyens - not just a great classical guitarist, but also a brilliant composer, arranger, improviser, teacher, and conductor! I'm particularly fond of playing his Libra Sonatine, Saudade No. 3, and arrangements from "Nuages" and "Citrons Deux". Only Dyens could pull off such wonderful arrangements of Chopin for guitar!
(2) John Williams - perfect technique, and so many great recordings in a variety of different styles; I particularly love his Bach recordings, no one plays Bach like John Williams!
(3) David Russell - also incredible technique and a masterful interpreter of a wide variety of different genres
