Paco de Lucia is the one who made flamenco guitar popular to the rest of the world and the way he mingled flamenco and classical throws me off my guard, superb!

Segovia ... goes without saying, he is the father of contemporary classical guitar playing, without him I think this beautiful instrument and music would not be as popular as it is nowadays, although it has lots of room to develop still, Segovia was a major contributor for its success.
