John Williams is my guitar hero

It is very hard for me to pick my three favorite guitarists because I like so many, but I would never doubt to say that my favorite one is John Williams, who I saw in concert in March, and had the chance to meet =D

He has everything to be the best, his technique is amazing, his sound is powerful with a beautiful tone, and he knows how to play every piece the way it should be played.

He could play Bach's Chaconne in the most pure baroque style and right after finishing play one of Lauro' Waltzes in a lively latin American style, not many guitarists can achieve that.

I think Williams is a lot superior to Segovia in all aspects, he plays a lot more music styles, and his technique and sound are way superior to Segovia's.

He is the best guitarist playing latin American music, being of latin American roots myself and having listened to many great players it feels to me he plays as if he was South American, an awesome guitarist and musician.

If I have to choose two more guitarist I'll pick David Russell, I love his sound, and Bream's interpretation is great.
