What are the notes on guitar? Where do you place your fingers? How long can it take to play a song like "Hey There Delilah"? Do you know any other sites that can help?

You place your fingers on the fingerboard/fretboard just before the frets. You can see a picture here...

How long it takes for you to play a song depends on your ability but mostly your drive and practice habits. You can have a look at my Links page to find some sites to help you. Scroll down to where it says... "Other Guitar Links".
