classical guitar sound flows like wind

First and foremost I would like to thank Mr. Trevor Maurice for developing this wonderful site. Actually I have been looking for something like this for years now.

My favorite guitarist is John Williams. Now there's something different about him. When you hear him play its like you are lost in the music. Every note is so pure so clearly played.

It seems to me that when he plays a particular piece that's the ultimate way of playing it and it can't be improved further.

One major point that should be noted is that every time he plays music his fingers are so beautifully relaxed its like they are sleeping and his technique is simply the ultimate according to me.

Next is Andres Segovia. Looking at him play makes one fall in love with the guitar. His approach to music is so fantastic.

Referred to as the man who saved the guitar from losing its glory, I feel that no one has greater conception of music than him. Although sometimes he plays with an odd timing but that strangely brings out a subtle beauty of the music.

He is a genius in true sense of the term.

Last but not the least is Julian Bream. The man who played the guitar as well as the lute. He has simply done it all. With astounding technique and musical sense he is also one of the gurus of the guitar.

Its his constant research on music that has made me his fan. And one should actually see his duet with John Williams in the "Spanish Dance" to realize what sort of people they really are.

These maestros are the reason why we are playing the instrument today in the concerts otherwise God knows who would have rescued the guitar and put it to a classical level!!

May we see more of people like them for years to come.

Thank you.
