Unfortunately in this day and age the old adage applies "you get what you pay for" Depends what you want it for, as a beginner instrument it will pass, does it sound well etc.
What sort of mobile phone can you buy at the same scale of price ? bearing in mind a top end guitar could set you back many thousands. Personally I just wish I could play to a good standard, no matter what the instrument was.
