Tarrega, Segovia and now
by: Abel

The guitar is an incredible source of musical expressions and there are so beautiful techniques to play it created through the years by different players, many of them unknown.

Tarrega had the power to make an impressive synthesis and to put the guitar beyond its limits by the time he lived, and his contribution has certainly spread from then to now.

I think Segovia was the most important ambassador of the guitar and I feel he is still the greatest guitarist among the great ones. It's so difficult for me who decide who is the best!

We should remember from the past Giuliani, Sor, Carulli... and at present Williams, Bitetti, and so many others.

And don't forget Ramón Montoya, Paco de Lucía and other marvellous flamenco guitarists.

The guitar has its own wonderful universe in the wonderful universe of music. Don't you think?
